Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 139:21

Sulayman al-Taymi from Anas ibn Malik (RA)

سليمان التيمي عن أنس بن مالك

Hadith 139:21

Shabab ibn Khalifah al-Asfari narrated to us, al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard my father from Anas ibn Malik, who said: A man would designate for the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, portions of his date palms as charity, until Qurayzah and al-Nadir were conquered. Then the Messenger of Allah began to return them after that. My family commanded me to go to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and ask him for what they had given him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had already given them to Umm Ayman. So I asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he gave them to me. Then Umm Ayman came and twisted the garment around my neck, saying: "No, by the One besides Whom there is no god, he will not give them to you!" And he had already given them to me, and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was saying: "You shall have such and such, and you shall have such and such"—I think he said—while she was saying: "No, by Allah!" until he gave her ten times their equivalent.
