Shayban narrated to us, Amarah narrated to us, Thabit narrated from Anas, who said: I have never touched with my palm anything softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), neither silk nor ambergris, and other things he mentioned which I do not remember. And I have never found a scent more pleasant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). I accompanied him for ten years, and he never once said to me regarding anything, "Why did you do such and such?"
