Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 117:175

Shayban narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Isa narrated to us, Thabit al-Bunani narrated to us, he said: I said to Anas, "O Anas, inform me of the most amazing thing you have seen." He said, "Yes, O Thabit. I served the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for ten years, and he never rebuked me for anything I did poorly. When the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, married Zaynab bint Jahsh, my mother said to me, 'O Anas, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has become a bridegroom this morning, and I do not know if he has any lunch. Bring that skin of ghee.' So I brought her the skin of ghee and some dates, and she made *hays* (a dish of dates, ghee, and curd) for him. She said, 'O Anas, take this to the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and his wife.' When I brought the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, a stone bowl containing that *hays*, he said, 'Place it in the corner of the house, and call Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Uthman, and a group of his companions for me. Then call the people of the mosque and whoever you see on the road for me.'" He said, "I began to marvel at the scarcity of the food and the large number of people he was ordering me to invite. I disliked disobeying him, until the house and the chamber were filled. He said, 'O Anas, do you see anyone left?' I said, 'No, O Prophet of Allah.' He said, 'Bring that bowl.' So I brought that bowl and placed it before him. He dipped three fingers into the bowl, and the bowl began to swell and rise. They began to eat and leave, until they had all finished, and there remained in the bowl about the same amount as what I had brought." He said, "Place it before Zaynab." So I went out and closed the door made of palm branches. Thabit said, "I said to Anas, 'How many do you think there were who ate from that bowl?' He said to me, 'I estimated seventy-one or seventy-two.'"
