Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 117:176

Shayban narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When I was ascended to the seventh heaven, I was taken to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary (Sidrat al-Muntaha). Its leaves were like the ears of elephants, and its fruits were like large jars (qilal). When that which covered it from the command of Allah covered it, it changed, and no one among the people is able to describe it due to its beauty. Then He revealed to me what He revealed."
