Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 117:191

Ishaq narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?" He said: "And what have you prepared for the Hour?" He said: "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger." He said: "Then you are with whom you love." Anas said: "We did not rejoice over anything after Islam as we rejoiced over the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: 'You are with whom you love.'" He said: "So I love the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and Abu Bakr, and Umar, and I hope to be with them through my love for them, even if I do not perform their deeds."
