Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that a woman who had something in her intellect said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a need for you." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "O mother of so-and-so, take whichever path you wish, and stand in it so that I may stand with you." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then went aside with her, speaking privately to her until she had fulfilled her need.
