Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 117:22

Bishr ibn Hilal al-Sawwaf narrated to us, Ja'far narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: When the day arrived on which the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered Medina, everything in it became illuminated. Then, when the day arrived on which the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died, everything in it became darkened. And we had not yet dusted the soil from our hands after burying the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, before we felt a change in our hearts.
