Hadith 117:257
Zuhayr narrated to us, Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Aisha, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and Thabit from Anas: That the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) heard some sounds, so he said, "What are these sounds?" They said, "The date palms, they are pollinating them, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "If they did not do it, it would be fine." He said: So they did not pollinate them that year, and it became shis (shriveled/inferior dates). He said: So they mentioned that to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and he said, "If it is something regarding your worldly affairs, then it is your concern; and if it is something regarding your religious affairs, then it is to me."
