Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 117:97

Abu al-Rabi' narrated to us, Yusuf bin 'Atiyyah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to supplicate with these supplications when he reached the morning and when he reached the evening: "O Allah, I ask You for the suddenness of good, and I seek refuge in You from the suddenness of evil; for the servant does not know what will come upon him suddenly when he reaches the morning and when he reaches the evening."
