Hadbata narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that when Umar was stabbed, Hafsa wailed over him. He said, "O Hafsa, have you not heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Indeed, the one who is wailed over is punished'?"
