Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, Thabit ibn Umara informed us, he said: Rayta narrated to me, from Kabsha bint Abi Maryam, that they asked Umm Salama about beverages. She said: I will tell you what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to forbid his family from. He used to forbid us from mixing dates and raisins, and from boiling the date pits.
