Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 209:125

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Khazim narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Shaqiq, from Umm Salamah: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf entered upon her and said, "O Mother, I have feared that the abundance of my wealth will destroy me; I am the wealthiest of Quraysh." She said, "O my son, spend, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Indeed, among my companions are those who will not see me after I depart from them.'" 'Abd al-Rahman went out and met 'Umar and informed him of what Umm Salamah had said. So 'Umar came and entered upon her and said, "By Allah, am I among them?" She said, "No, and I will not absolve anyone after you."
