Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Tahman narrated to me, Badil narrated to me, from al-Hasan ibn Muslim, from Safiyya bint Shayba, from Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "The woman whose husband has died shall not wear clothes dyed with safflower, nor those dyed with red clay, nor jewelry. She shall not dye her hands with henna, nor shall she apply kohl."
