Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 209:147

Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (SAW)

أم سلمة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 209:147

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Darraj narrated to us, from al-Sa'ib, the freed slave of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The best prayer for women is in the depths of their houses." Abu Khaythama narrated to us, 'Affan narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, Ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from his mother, from Umm Salamah, who said: When it was the day of the Trench, and he was handing them the bricks, and his hair had become dusty—meaning the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)—she said: By Allah, I have not forgotten him while he was saying: "O Allah, the true life is the life of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun." She said: Then 'Ammar entered, and he said: "Woe to you," or "Woe to him; the rebellious group will kill him."
