Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 209:23

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi ‘Abd Allah, from Ibn Jud’an, from whoever narrated to him, or from his grandmother, from Umm Salamah: That the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a servant girl of his, and she was slow. He said: "Were it not for the fear of retribution, I would have caused you pain with this whip."
