Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 209:88
Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (SAW)
Hadith 209:88
Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Hassan ibn Makhariq, who said: Umm Salama said: "A daughter of mine became ill, so I prepared a *nabidh* (a fermented drink) for her in a jug. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered while it was boiling, and he said: 'What is this?' I said: 'My daughter became ill, so we prepared this for her.' He said: 'Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has not placed your cure in what is forbidden.'"
