Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 107:13

Ahmad narrated to us, Abu Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, he said: Abu Qabil, Huyayy ibn Hani' al-Ma'afiri, narrated to me, he said: I heard Uqbah ibn Amir saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "The destruction of my nation is in the Book and the milk." They said: "And what is the Book and the milk?" He said: "They learn the Quran and interpret it in a way other than its [true] interpretation, and they love milk, so they abandon the congregations and the Friday prayers, and they move to the desert."
