Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 107:33

Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Harmalah ibn Imran, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abu al-Khayr, from Uqbah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A man is in the shade of his charity until judgment is passed between the people," or he said, "until justice is dispensed between the people." And Abu al-Khayr would not let a day pass without giving something in charity, even if it were a cake or an onion.
