Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 140:11

Al-Fadl ibn al-Sabah narrated to us, Abu Ubaydah narrated to us, from Muhtasib, from Yazid al-Raqashi, from Anas, who said: Abu Musa sat in his house, and people gathered around him, and he began to recite the Quran to them. A man came to the Messenger of Allah and said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall I not amaze you with Abu Musa? He has sat in a house, and people have gathered around him, and he has begun to recite the Quran to them." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Are you able to seat me where none of them can see me?" He said: "Yes." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out, and the man seated him where none of them could see him. He heard the recitation of Abu Musa, and he said: "Indeed, he recites with a flute from the flutes of the family of David."
