Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 140:30

Ishaq ibn Abi Isra'il narrated to us, Rawh ibn al-Musayyib narrated to us, Yazid al-Raqashi narrated to us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My intercession is for those who have committed major sins among my nation." He said: Then he said, "The confirmation of this is in the Quran." He said: Then he recited to us: "If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden from, We will remit your evil deeds and admit you to a noble entrance" (An-Nisa: 31). These are those who avoid the major sins, and those are those who have committed the major sins, for whom the intercession of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remains. He said: Then Yazid said to Anas, "You have spoken the truth."
