Abu al-Rabi' al-Zahrani narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thabit al-'Abdi narrated to us, Ma'bad ibn Khalid al-Ansari narrated to us, from Yazid al-Raqashi, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "There were among those who passed before me from my brothers, the prophets, eight thousand prophets. Then there was 'Isa ibn Maryam, and then I was."
