Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

مسند عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما

Hadith 27:1023

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Yahya—meaning Ibn Sa'id—informed us, from 'Umar ibn Nafi', and Yazid said once that 'Umar ibn Nafi' informed him, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar, that a man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "What shall we wear when we enter into Ihram?" He said: "Do not wear shirts, nor trousers, nor turbans, nor hooded cloaks (burnus), nor leather socks (khuffayn), unless a man does not have sandals, then he may wear the leather socks and cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any clothing that has been touched by saffron or wars (a yellow dye)."

حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا يحيى يعني ابن سعيد، عن عمر بن نافع، وقال: يزيد، مرة أن عمر بن نافع، أخبره، عن أبيه، عن ابن عمر، أن رجلا سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ما نلبس إذا أحرمنا؟ قال: " لا تلبسوا القمص، ولا السراويلات، ولا العمائم، ولا البرانس، ولا الخفاف، إلا أن يكون رجل ليست له نعلان، فيلبس الخفين ويجعلهما أسفل من الكعبين، ولا تلبسوا شيئا من الثياب مسه الزعفران ولا الورس "
