Musnad Ahmad 27:1081

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar, I heard Ibn 'Umar saying: A Bedouin called out to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "What is your opinion regarding this dabb (spiny-tailed lizard)?" He said: "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
