Musnad Ahmad 27:1113

Yazid narrated to us, Abu Janab Yahya ibn Abi Hayyah informed us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, I heard Abdullah ibn Umar saying: "I have seen us when the possessor of the dinar and the dirham was no more entitled to it than his Muslim brother, then I have seen us lately, and the dinar and the dirham are more beloved to one of us than his Muslim brother." And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "If you follow the tails of cattle, and trade by *al-inah* (a form of usury), and abandon jihad in the way of Allah, Allah will surely impose upon you humiliation in your necks, then it will not be removed from you until you return to what you were upon, and repent to Allah." And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "There will surely be migration after migration to the place of migration of your father Ibrahim, peace be upon him, until there remains on the earths only the worst of its people, and their lands will cast them out, and the Spirit of the Most Merciful, Mighty and Majestic, will loathe them, and the Fire will gather them with the monkeys and the swine; they will take a midday nap where they take a midday nap, and they will spend the night where they spend the night, and whatever falls from them, it belongs to it." And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "There will emerge from my nation a people who perform evil deeds, they recite the Quran but it does not pass their throats." Yazid said: I do not know but that he said: "One of you will belittle his own deed compared to their deed. They kill the people of Islam, so if they emerge, kill them; then if they emerge, kill them; then if they emerge, kill them. So glad tidings to whoever kills them, and glad tidings to whoever they kill. Every time a horn of them appears, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will cut it off." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, repeated that twenty times or more, and I was listening.
