Musnad Ahmad 27:1132

Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from his father, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, attributing it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "If people knew what is in solitude—what I know—no rider would travel alone at night."
