Musnad Ahmad 27:121

Sufyan narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Abdullah ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered the mosque of Banu Amr ibn Awf, the Mosque of Quba, to pray in it. The men of the Ansar entered upon him, greeting him. Suhayb also entered with him. I asked Suhayb: "How did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) do when he was greeted?" He said: "He would gesture with his hand." Sufyan said: "I said to a man, 'Ask Zayd: Did you hear it from Abdullah?' I was hesitant to ask him myself. So he said: 'O Abu Usamah, I heard it from Abdullah ibn Umar.' He said: 'As for me, I saw him and spoke to him.'"
