Musnad Ahmad 27:127

Sufyan narrated to us, Yahya bin Sa'id narrated to us, from Nafi', who said: Ibn Umar said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, upon the pulpit. When I saw him, I hurried and entered the mosque and sat down, but I did not hear [what he said] until he descended. So I asked the people: "What did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say?" They said: "He forbade the *duba* (gourd) and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel) from being used to prepare *nabidh* (fermented drink) in them."
