Musnad Ahmad 27:129

Sufyan narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Do not travel with the Quran, for I fear that the enemy may seize it."
