Musnad Ahmad 27:1369

'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Ya'la ibn Hakim narrated to me, I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrating that he heard Ibn 'Umar saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the nabidh (fermented drink) of the jar." He said: So I met Ibn 'Abbas and said: Do you not wonder at Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, who claims that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the nabidh of the jar? Ibn 'Abbas said: He spoke the truth. I said: And what is the jar? He said: "That which is made from clay."
