Musnad Ahmad 27:137

Sufyan narrated to us, he heard Sadaqah ibn Umar saying—meaning from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—: "The people of Najd shall enter into Ihram from Qarn, the people of Ash-Sham from Al-Juhfah, and the people of Yemen from Yalamlam." Ibn Umar did not hear this [part] from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, but he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "The place of entering Ihram for the people of Al-Madinah is from Dhu al-Hulayfah." They said to him: "Then where is [the place for] the people of Iraq?" Ibn Umar said: "It did not exist in those days."
