Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Amr heard Ibn Umar say: We used to practice *mukhabarah* (sharecropping), and we did not see any harm in that, until Rafi’ ibn Khadij claimed that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade it, so we abandoned it.
