'Ali ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, Husayn—meaning Ibn Numayr Abu Mahsan—narrated to us, from al-Fadl ibn 'Atiyyah, Salim narrated to me, from his father: "That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out on the day of 'Eid, and he began by praying without an Adhan and without an Iqamah, then he delivered a sermon."
