5873 - Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Umarah ibn Ghaziyah, from Harb ibn Qays, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed, Allah loves that His concessions be practiced, just as He dislikes that His disobedience be committed." 5874 - Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah—Hafs, meaning Ibn Ghiyath, narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: "We used to drink while standing, and we used to eat while walking, during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)." 5875 - Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad—Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, who said: I saw Ibn Umar touch the Stone (the Black Stone), then he kissed his hand and said: "I have not left it since I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) do it." 5876 - Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad—Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Usamah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: He used to slaughter his sacrifice at the prayer ground on the Day of Sacrifice, and he mentioned "that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to do that." 5877 - Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it from Abdullah—Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Uthaym, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Baylamani, from his father, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked: "What is permissible regarding witnesses for breastfeeding?" He said: "A man or a woman." —Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah. 5878 - Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad—Abu Usamah narrated to us, Umar ibn Hamzah informed us, Salim informed me, Ibn Umar informed me, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought Hatib ibn Abi Balta'ah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him: "Did you write this letter?" He said: "Yes. But by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, my faith has not changed in my heart, but there was no man from Quraysh except that he had a root and a household to protect his family for him, and I wrote a letter hoping that Allah would protect my family through it." Umar said: "Permit me to deal with him." He (the Prophet) said: "Would you have killed him?" He said: "Yes, if you permit me." He said: "And what do you know? Perhaps Allah has looked upon the people of Badr and said: 'Do what you wish.'" 5879 - Harun narrated to us—Abu Abd al-Rahman, who is Abdullah ibn Ahmad, said: And I heard it myself from Harun ibn Ma'ruf—Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Umar narrated to me, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, "that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to go out to the two Eids by one route and return by another route."
