Musnad Ahmad 27:1457

Ishaq ibn Isa narrated to us, Jarir—meaning Ibn Hazim—narrated to us, from Ya'la ibn Hakim, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Umar, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade the *nabidh* (fermented drink) of the *jar* (earthenware jar)." He said: I came to Abdullah ibn Abbas and informed him, and he said: "Ibn Umar spoke the truth." He said: I asked, "What is the *jar*?" He replied: "Everything that is made from clay."
