Musnad Ahmad 27:1467

Ishaq narrated to us, Malik informed me, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, when one of you dies, his seat is presented to him morning and evening. If he is among the people of Paradise, then [he is shown his seat] among the people of Paradise, and if he is among the people of the Fire, then [he is shown his seat] among the people of the Fire. Then it is said: 'This is your seat until Allah resurrects you to it on the Day of Resurrection.'"
