Surayj narrated to us, Abdullah narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that he used to perform *ramal* (brisk walking) for three circuits from the Black Stone to the Black Stone, and walk for four. And he would report that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to do that.
