Musnad Ahmad 27:1537

Harun narrated to us, Abdullah bin Wahb narrated to us, Usamah bin Zaid informed me, from Nafi’, from Abdullah bin Umar, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate against men from the polytheists, naming them by their names, until Allah revealed: 'Not for you is the decision whether He turns in mercy to them or punishes them, for they are indeed wrongdoers' [Al-Imran: 128]." So he abandoned that.
