Musnad Ahmad 27:1550

Hashim narrated to us, Jisr narrated to us, Salit narrated to us, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "When you feel the fever, extinguish it with cold water."
