Hashim narrated to us, Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir and Abdullah ibn Umar: "That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the *naqir* (hollowed-out log), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), and the *duba'* (gourd)."
