Musnad Ahmad 27:1568

Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Shu'ayb informed us, from al-Zuhri, Salim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Hathmah narrated to us, that 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the 'Isha prayer at the end of his life. When he had finished the salutation, he stood up and said: "Do you see this night of yours? For at the head of one hundred years from it, no one who is on the face of the earth today will remain." 'Abd Allah said: The people were confused by that statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding what they were narrating of these hadiths about one hundred years. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) only meant: "No one who is on the face of the earth today will remain," intending by that that that century would come to an end.
