Musnad Ahmad 27:1594

Yunus narrated to us, Laith narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) burned the date palms of Banu al-Nadir and cut them down, and it was al-Buwayrah. Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, revealed: "Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allah and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient." [Al-Hashr: 5]
