Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi’, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Behold, the likeness of your lifespans in relation to the lifespans of the nations before you is like what is between the Asr prayer and the setting of the sun."
