Hadith 27:1607

Yunus and Surayj narrated to us, they said: Fulayh narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to perform Umrah, but the disbelievers of Quraysh stood between him and the House. So he slaughtered his sacrificial animal and shaved his head at al-Hudaybiyah. He made a peace treaty with them that they would perform Umrah the following year, and that he would not carry weapons against them—Surayj said: "And he would not carry a weapon except for swords"—and that he would not stay there except for as long as they liked. So he performed Umrah the following year and entered it just as he had made peace with them. When he had stayed for three days, they ordered him to leave, so he left.

حدثنا يونس، وسريج، قالا: حدثنا فليح، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خرج معتمرا، فحال كفار قريش بينه وبين البيت، فنحر هديه، وحلق رأسه بالحديبية، فصالحهم على: " أن يعتمروا العام المقبل، ولا يحمل السلاح عليهم، - قال سريج : ولا يحمل سلاحا إلا سيوفا -، ولا يقيم بها إلا ما أحبوا "، فاعتمر من العام المقبل، فدخلها كما كان صالحهم، فلما أن أقام ثلاثا، أمروه أن يخرج، فخرج
