Musnad Ahmad 27:1628

Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to me, from Ayyub, from Nafi’, from Abdullah, who attributed it to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "A man shall not sell over the sale of his brother, and he shall not propose [to a woman] except with his permission," or he said: "Unless he gives him permission."
