Musnad Ahmad 27:1630

Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Anas ibn Sirin, from Ibn Umar: "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray the two rak'ahs before the dawn prayer, as if the adhan were in his ears."
