Surayj narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, that a man performed *li’an* (oath of imprecation) with his wife during the time of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he disowned her child. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, separated them and attributed the child to the woman.
