Musnad Ahmad 27:169

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, Nafi’ informed me, from Ibn Umar, he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "In the forelocks of horses is goodness until the Day of Resurrection."
