Musnad Ahmad 27:1712

Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us, Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Musa ibn 'Uqbah, from Nafi', that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to observe I'tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan."
