Musnad Ahmad 27:1743

Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, Isma'il—meaning Ibn Ja'far—informed us, Musa ibn 'Uqbah informed me, from Salim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Bakr said: "One side of my lower garment slackens unless I am mindful of it." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "You are not among those who do it out of pride."
