Musnad Ahmad 27:178

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to, when he entered Makkah, enter from the upper mountain pass (al-thaniyah al-'ulya). And when he departed, he departed from the lower mountain pass (al-thaniyah al-sufla).
